The Journey of Scent

Growing up in Kerala, a land rich in flora and natural beauty, I was captivated by scents—from the monsoon-soaked earth to the delicate blooms of jasmine and sandalwood. Being a boy from Malabar, fragrance was deeply rooted in my culture. My father, uncles, and many relatives working in the Middle East would bring back perfumes, each bottle carrying stories from distant lands.

During my college years at Government Engineering College, Thrissur, I worked part-time at a perfume shop, where I had the chance to explore raw materials and blends firsthand. It was there that I crafted my very first fragrance—an experience that solidified my passion and set me on the path toward perfumery.

The Vision Behind Ambassador Scentworks

Though I pursued a master’s in industrial engineering at IIT Kharagpur and built a successful career in the manufacturing sector, my love for perfumery never faded. Determined to refine my skills, I trained at the prestigious Grasse Institute of Perfumery in France, transforming my passion into expertise.

Today, I am the founder of Ambassador Scentworks Co., with our flagship store in Safari Mall, Sharjah. The name Ambassador is a reflection of my own name, Safeer, which means Ambassador in Arabic—symbolizing my mission to connect people through scent.
